andar
to go
to ride
to walk
to go
to do
to work
to ride
While "andar" is not unique to Argentine, it's frequency of use in the Paris of the South is quite astonishing. There may be perfectly appropriate words with more descriptive power, but Argentines insist on using "andar" for just about everything that goes, works, functions, doesn't function, takes, or rides. It can also be combined with "cagar" to form the mother of all Argentine insults, "andate a cagar" (go take a crap).
