Puto

male prostitute; fag

This highly derogatory word is probably the most common insult used among men in Argentina ("Boludo" not generally being considered an insult). It is the masculine version of the word "puta" which means "whore". "Puto" however generally does not have the connotation of "prostitute" but being gay as if it were a bad thing. "Los de River son todos putos" is something you will commonly hear among Boca Junior fans, which means "River Plate fans are gay".
