La Pucha

dang, crap

The origins of the word are unclear and its meaning changes slightly between countries. In Argentina it is used as a less vulgar interrogative to express frustration, such as "dang" or "crap", or depending on the tone, excitement.

In Chile and Peru, only the former tone of frustration is used.

In Mexico it is used to refer to the male genitalia. Supposedly the comes from a poor understanding of the English word "push". Puchala means to "to push it", an expression men would often say to their wives during intercourse.
